British Airways Features Amelia Coward’s Stripe Artwork in Exclusive Club World Amenity Kits”

I’m thrilled to share that my artwork has been selected as part of British Airways’ new limited edition amenity kits for their Club World (long-haul business class) cabin, launching exclusively for flights from London Gatwick.

These kits feature four bold and original designs by British artists, created in partnership with Rise Art, a digital art platform. Each pouch showcases a distinct artistic technique, from laser cut wood collage and typographic murals to hand-carved prints and abstract painting, drawing inspiration from British landscapes and travel experiences.

The kits also include bespoke skincare products from anatomē, a premium British wellness brand and London apothecary. Inside, passengers will find a 10ml moisturiser and a 3ml multi-balm, both formulated especially for British Airways, along with ear plugs, a dental kit, an eye mask, and socks. Designed to be reused, these pouches are set to become sought-after travel companions.

British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, said:

We set out to create something bold, original, modern and unexpected that would surprise and delight our customers. We’re confident we’ve achieved that with this collaboration with outstanding homegrown British talent and skincare products by anatomē.”

About My Artwork

After graduating from the Royal College of Art with an MA in woven textiles, I’ve continued to explore my fascination with colour theory and materiality. My current work blends these passions into original pieces created from fine birch plywood. I paint the wood in luminous gradients, allowing the natural grain to show through, then press and laser cut the panels into fine strips before recomposing them.

The result is a rhythmic, flowing composition, one hue gently shifting into another in patterns that evoke the movement and elegance of flight paths. I’m honoured to be part of this celebration of British creativity at 35,000 feet. You can explore more of my work at ameliaCoward.com

Meet the Other Artists

Charlotte studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art and now lives in a small village in the Scottish Borders. Her work is inspired by her rural surroundings and what she calls her “internal landscape.” Her design features bold colours, clear lines, and portals that suggest reflection and a deeper understanding of the British landscapes around us.

Kit’s intricate prints reflect his fascination with the spirit of place. Working from his studio near the Thames Barrier, his art draws on the British landscape and the traditions of 19th and 20th century Romantic artists. His featured design includes One Tree Hill in Greenwich Park, capturing the way treelines, rolling hills, and expansive skies dwarf the human figure, inviting us to reflect on our place in the universe.

Naomi is best known for her ongoing project, Survival Techniques, which transforms urban landscapes into canvases for messages of hope and optimism. Her bold design includes two murals: “Face the Sun,” painted in Dalston, reminds us to turn toward warmth and light, while “You Can Rest,” painted in Deptford, encourages us to slow down and relax, perfect sentiments before heading off on holiday.
