Heathrow To Oahu

Heathrow to Oahu is an original 3D mixed media collage composed from fragments of vintage world maps. The imagery is carefully selected and arranged by colour into a a rainbow composition.  

Each map fragment is bonded onto birch wood and laser cut into circular forms before being assembled into a structured geometric composition.

Mounted on textured watercolour paper. 

The piece is presented in a white box frame with museum-quality UV perspex glazing to protect the artwork from fading.
