"Scotland to Sydney" is an original, mixed media map collage made from vintage land use and geological maps, carefully sourced from atlases & sheet maps of the world. The maps are hand-bonded to birch wood. The sheets are meticulously laser-cut into strips and reassembled into a mathematically precise geometric stripe composition.

The technique creates an interplay of color and form. The subtle, soft colors and gradient effects evoke a sense of landscape and travel, while the geometric grid adds a touch of modernism and minimalism. The piece is mounted on a white gesso board, enhancing its clean lines and contemporary feel.

This artwork's blend of found objects and precise craftsmanship makes it a unique statement piece. The Yellow, b;ue and green hues, create bold statement piece.
