"Traces" is a vertical tapestry of fine map fragments, assembled in slender columns that recall threads, tracks, or geological strata. The composition evokes quiet movement of land, of people, of time rendered through a language of cartography.

Each strip is cut from vintage and modern maps, some dating back over 150 years. These fragments hold shifting borders, renamed places, and changing territories. Through their juxtaposition, *Traces* asks what histories are visible, and which have been obscured or erased.

There is a sense of rhythm and silence here,a meditation on what remains after movement, and how land quietly records the traces of those who pass through.
